About Me

Angela Maritim-Brooks, LMSW is a Clinical Therapist specializing in individual, couples and family therapy, and maintains a private practice in Roseville, MI.

With over 22 years of experience as a social worker/clinical therapist and a graduate of Wayne State University, Mrs. Maritim-Brooks is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of clients ranging from stress on the job/school/home, challenges with family members, depression, anxiety, trauma, anger, substance abuse issues, and marital/relationship concerns, etc.   

In addition to being a clinical therapist, Mrs. Maritim-Brooks has developed enriching programs and groups to decrease symptoms by increasing positive coping skills, managing mood, and maintaining peaceful lives by learning new techniques.  Also, community resources and referrals are given to clients to assist with meeting their needs (environmental, educational, support groups, and psychiatric services).  

Mrs. Maritim-Brooks is an interactive, motivational, and personable clinical therapist, who specializes in Client Centered Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength-Based, Solution-focused, and Christian Counseling.  Her therapeutic approach is to provide motivational, practical, and realistic guidance to help clients effectively address personal life challenges as well as integrates techniques to offer a highly personalized approach tailored to each client. With compassion and understanding, she works with each individual to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
